I am passionate about helping organizations utilize and deploy modern technology to support preparedness planning and operations management. I have spent 20 years working as Director of Public Safety at ESRI, a large GIS/Technology Software Company. In this role I had the opportunity to work with people and organizations charged with keeping people safe. I served as trusted advisor to organizations helping them understand the capabilities of Geospatial Technology and best practices for deployment.
Prior to ESRI I spent a career as a First Responder and Chief of a large wildfire organization learning the challenges and responsibilities of preparing for and managing large complex incidents. I also had the opportunity to serve as a National Type I Incident Commander.
Today the challenge organizations face is understanding how to deploy, manage, sustain and get the most from their technology investments. At Bent Ear I am pleased to continue to help agencies improve their governance, situational awareness, information sharing, standard operating procedures and overall performance capabilities.
