    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    Bent Ear Solutions is in search of an intelligence analyst with experience working with or in law enforcement to provide direct support to a federal client that is responsible for monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on incidents that could or are currently, having an impact on that clients’ operations. The intelligence analyst is expected to gather information, build out stakeholder and partner relationships, and compile actionable intelligence for the client. The level of teamwork needed for this position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to frequent changes in process, priority, and availability.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide direct on-site support to a federal client responsible for monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on incidents that could, or are currently, having an impact on critical client operations.

    • Deliver reports and presentations in a thorough and professional manner.

    • Advise and provide input on policies and operational considerations.

    • Ability to perform extensive research and analysis in key areas of law enforcement intelligence.

    • Ability to process data and information and clearly communicate discoveries to their colleagues with confidence, clarity, and speed.

    All analysts are expected to work independently but be able to quickly and effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders to produce the best results.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Understands how to review, revise, and report data and information, including items that may be sensitive in nature.

    • Ability to perform objective research and apply basic analytical techniques.

    • Capable of applying logic and reason to tasks and new or complex situations.

    • Ability to engage with stakeholders and partner agencies and be trusted to adequately represent the organization and client.

    • Capable of both receiving and providing constructive feedback in a professional manner with team members, leadership, the client, and stakeholders.

    • Capable of both strong teamwork and working effectively in an independent environment.

    • Experience and ability coordinating with and briefing senior officials.

    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule.

    • Must possess basic computer skills, including the use of MS Office products.

    • Possesses strong writing and grammar skills that support clear and concise communication.

    EDUCATION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • 3-5 years of experience in intelligence and/or law enforcement

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred)

    • Advanced writing, communication, and presentation skills

    • Excellent research and analytical skills

    • Ability to work both independently as well as in teams and inspire other staff and client team members to think both differently and creatively

    • Willingness and desire to learn new skills as our small company dictates throughout its growth

    • GIS experience is a strong plus

    • Ability to obtain a security clearance

This role involves providing direct support to a federal client tasked with monitoring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting incidents that potentially or actively impact their operations. This position demands high levels of teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to frequent changes in processes, priorities, and availability. In this role, you will support the rollout of OnSolve, an emergency management notification system. Collaborating with a team of consultants and project managers, you will deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform effectively in team environments and manage assignments independently.

    • Communicate clearly and confidently with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

    • Adhere to all information security policies, procedures, regulations, and agreements.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest updates and applications related to OnSolve.

    • Oversee the deployment of the OnSolve platform across various U.S. Courts departments, tailoring the system to meet specific needs.

    • Engage actively with U.S. Courts stakeholders to understand their unique requirements and demonstrate how the OnSolve platform can address them.

    • Provide comprehensive training on the OnSolve platform to U.S. Courts' staff, including the creation and management of SOPs, documentation, and related policies.

    • Conduct demonstrations of the OnSolve platform, highlighting its features and benefits to stakeholders.

    • Gather and analyze feedback post-implementation to ensure the platform effectively meets the needs of the U.S. Courts and recommend necessary improvements or updates.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • In-depth understanding of critical event management platforms, with a particular focus on OnSolve’s suite of solutions.

    • Proficient in engaging with and understanding the needs of diverse stakeholders, including high-level officials within the US Courts.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for managing email correspondence, delivering presentations, and providing effective training.

    • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing requirements or challenges that may arise during the implementation process.

    • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and coordinating efficiently across various departments.

    • Capability to professionally represent the organization and client while effectively engaging with stakeholders and partner agencies.

    • Skilled in giving and receiving constructive feedback in a professional manner with team members, leadership, clients, and stakeholders.

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement GIS solutions for our clients. Collaborating with a team of developers, consultants, analysts and project managers, you will deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively in a team environment and manage projects independently.

    • Possess knowledge of web-based GIS using the Esri Platform, including ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, and related applications (Survey123 Connect, Dashboard, HUB, Map Viewer, Experience Builder, etc.).

    • Work effectively and independently with ArcGIS Pro, utilizing geodatabases, published layers, REST Endpoints, ArcGIS Online, and other associated data types.

    • Maintain and update GIS databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

    • Collect, compile, and analyze spatial data from various sources to create accurate and detailed maps.

    • Develop and maintain high-quality maps and spatial data analyses using AGOL and ArcGIS Pro for visually appealing and informative maps for presentations and reports.

    • Conduct thorough research and analysis using GIS tools and Python scripting to enhance intelligence and operational effectiveness.

    • Develop and maintain GIS documentation and standard operating procedures.

    • Understand ArcGIS from an IT perspective, including hardware, software, storage, security, networking, servers, databases, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.

    • Stay informed of emerging GIS technologies and their potential to enhance organizational capabilities.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
